These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services by Wrexham Greenworks ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.1 We provide gardening, exterior cleaning, and related services as agreed at the time of booking or quotation.
1.2 All services are subject to availability and operational constraints.
1.3 The scope of work is limited strictly to what is agreed in writing or confirmed at the time of booking. Any additional work will incur additional charges and must be agreed in advance.
1.4 We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services at our discretion where necessary for safety, legal, or operational reasons.
2.1 Bookings may be made via phone, email, website, or other agreed communication channels.
2.2 A booking is only confirmed once we have accepted it.
2.3 We reserve the right to decline any booking without providing a reason.
3.1 All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.
3.3 The agreed price at the time of booking will be honoured unless:
The scope of work changes
Access conditions differ from what was described
Additional work is requested
3.4 Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.5 We currently accept payment via cash unless agreed otherwise in advance.
3.6 Failure to make payment may result in:
Suspension or refusal of future services
Recovery action, including the use of third-party debt collection services
Additional reasonable costs incurred in recovering outstanding amounts
3.7 A service is deemed complete when the agreed work has been carried out to a reasonable standard.
4.1 Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.
4.2 Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the agreed service cost.
4.3 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Adverse weather
Staff illness
Equipment failure
Vehicle breakdown
Health and safety concerns
4.4 In such cases, we will offer an alternative appointment. We shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages resulting from such cancellations.
5.1 Customers must ensure safe, clear, and unobstructed access to all areas where work is to be carried out.
5.2 This includes (but is not limited to):
Unlocking gates or access points
Securing pets
Removing obstacles or hazards
Ensuring safe ground conditions (e.g. no ice or dangerous surfaces)
5.3 If access is not possible or conditions are unsafe, we reserve the right to:
Refuse or suspend service
Charge a call-out fee
Charge reasonable waiting time
5.4 Customers must remove or secure any valuable, fragile, or hazardous items prior to service.
5.5 We are not responsible for damage to items that have not been properly secured or removed.
6.1 We will only take and use photographs of completed work with the customer’s prior consent.
6.2 Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.
6.3 All images will be stored securely and handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7.1 We will carry out all services with reasonable care and skill.
7.2 We are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage, defects, or wear and tear
Issues arising from poor maintenance or unsuitable materials
Damage caused by undisclosed hazards
7.3 Where damage is directly caused by our proven negligence, our liability is limited to:
Repairing the damage, or
The reasonable cost of repair
7.4 We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss of income, business, or opportunity
Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
7.5 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
8.1 Customers are encouraged to report any issues within 7 days of service.
8.2 We must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and resolve any issues before any refund or third-party repair is arranged.
8.3 We aim to resolve all complaints fairly and promptly.
9.1 We comply with all applicable UK data protection laws.
9.2 Personal data is used solely for:
Service delivery
Customer communication
Business administration
9.3 We may share data with trusted third parties where necessary for business operations (e.g. accountants, insurers, or legal compliance).
10.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
10.2 Updated Terms will apply only to bookings made after the date of publication.
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12.1 We reserve the right to refuse or immediately stop work where:
There is a risk to staff safety
The environment is unsafe or hazardous
The customer behaves in an abusive, threatening, or inappropriate manner
12.2 In such cases, full or partial charges may still apply.
We aim to carry out our services using environmentally responsible methods where reasonably possible.
